Cranswick completed the acquisition of Packington Pork from the Mercer family.

Cranswick, a UK food producer, completed the acquisition of Packington Pork, a producer of British free range and outdoor bred pigs, from the Mercer family. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction does not include the Packington Free Range business, which will be retained by the Mercer family as a standalone business operating under the Packington brand. “I am delighted to announce the acquisition of the premium pig farming business, Packington Pork.
