Synopsis

Turkish Wealth Fund, a sovereign wealth fund, agreed to acquire a 10% stake in Borsa Istanbul, the sole exchange entity of Turkey, from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The EBRD will continue to support an enabling environment for local currency-denominated financial products and the deepening of local capital markets," EBRD.
