Sievi Capital, a private equity firm, and Tesi, a government-owned investment company, agreed to acquire Saurus, a manufacturer of fire trucks, and Vema Lift, an aerial platform manufacturer, for $26m. Saurus’s and Vema Lift’s strong product portfolios, existing customer relationships and brand recognition will enable accelerated growth to meet the market’s growing demand. There will continue to be considerable investment in both product development and production capacity.
