Sportmaster Operations completed the acquisition of SportMaster from Nordic Capital.

Sportmaster Operations, a Singaporean sports chain company which operates hundreds of stores in Eastern Europe and Asia, completed the acquisition of SportMaster, a Denmark’s sports chain, from Nordic Capital, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “They have a lot of muscle and want to expand in Europe. The fact that they have the same name makes it easier for everyone to understand. It is also cheaper, because there is no need to use money on rebranding,” Michael Christiansen, Sportmaster Chairman.
