Synopsys completed the acquisition of Tinfoil Security.

Synopsys, an electronic design automation company, completed the acquisition of Tinfoil Security, a provider of dynamic application security testing and application program interface security testing solutions. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Through the acquisition of Tinfoil Security, Synopsys is expanding its DAST capabilities and adding API security testing capabilities, extending the most comprehensive portfolio of application security and quality testing solutions and further strengthening our technology leadership," Andreas Kuehlmann, Synopsys Software Integrity Group Co-General Manager.
