Bauer Media Group completed the acquisition of Mitteldeutsche Zeitung from DuMont for $72m.t.

Bauer Media Group, a German multimedia conglomerate, completed the acquisition of Mitteldeutsche Zeitung, a Germany-based regional daily newspaper, from DuMont, a Germany's publishing house, for $72m. "The review process of our portfolio was designed to be open to results right from the start, combined with the aspiration to evaluate each media company with its specific framework and to work out the best possible future option. Against this background, we also made the decision for Halle," Christoph Bauer, DuMont CEO.
