Synopsis

Murakami offered to acquire Toshiba Machine, which manufactures industrial machinery with molding machines and machine tools as mainline, for $235m. The former Toshiba unit said the decision is based on a conclusion drawn up by an independent committee that discussed Murakami’s proposal.
