capiton, a German private equity, agreed to acquire AlphaPet Ventures, an online provider of pet products, from Heliad Equity Partners, a Germany-based investment company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition remains subject to approval from antitrust authorities. capiton participates in the capital increase at AlphaPet Group together with relevant existing shareholders in order to finance the acquisition of Healthfood24. In addition, capiton acquires secondary shares from current investors.
