TPG Capital agreed to acquire a 6.1% stake in AP Towers, a provider of tower and power services to mobile network operators in Myanmar, in exchange for shares in Apollo Towers Myanmar, a provider of construction, management and leasing of telecommunications tower infrastructure. The share swap effectively brings Apollo Towers and Pan Asia Towers under the common ownership of AP Towers. AP Towers now manages one of the largest networks of telecom towers in Myanmar providing tower and power services to all of Myanmar’s mobile network operators.
