GIC and Carlyle-backed Nouryon, a global specialty chemicals provider, completed the acquisition of the carboxymethyl cellulose business of J.M. Huber, which provides chemicals, additives, and minerals. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are excited by the opportunity to acquire this high-quality business.
