Lightbox, which offers investment management services to global fund clients that invest in early-stage technology businesses, led a $32m investment round in Waycool Foods & Products, a food development and distribution company, together with FMO, a Dutch development bank, and LGT Lightstone Aspada, which provides patient capital and business-building support to world-class entrepreneurs. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Lightbox’s deep experience in technology and brand building will greatly help us as we strengthen our digital backbone, and our move into value-added products,” Karthik Jayaraman, Waycool Co-Founder.
