Versalis, Eni's chemical company, completed the acquisition of a 40% stake in Finproject, the Italian leader in the compounding sector and the production of ultralight products. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This operation is part of Versalis' development strategy to re-position its portfolio on higher specialisation and geographical expansion. This also opens up opportunities to create new products using renewable or recycled raw materials for a market increasingly sensitive to sustainability issues, in line with the company's circular economy strategy," Daniele Ferrari, Versalis CEO.
