Burckhardt Compression, a manufacturer of reciprocating compressors, completed the acquisition of global compressor business from The Japan Steel Works, a producer of machinery for casts, forged steel, and plastics. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Burckhardt Compression is building on its market leadership in the compressor business and expanding its presence in Japan, a key market, with this acquisition," Marcel Pawlicek, Burckhardt Compression CEO.
