Equitix completed the acquisition of the Crail Meters from Smart Metering Systems £291m.

Equitix Investment Management, completed the acquisition of a portfolio of industrial gas & electricity meters from Smart Metering Systems, installer, owner and manager of energy meter assets in the UK for £291m. "With a strengthened balance sheet, we will also be in a much stronger position to invest in the sizeable UK smart meter rollout programme, which is central to the establishment of a decentralised and decarbonised energy system," Alan Foy, Smart Metering Systems Chief Executive Officer.
