The New York Times, a media company, completed the acquisition of Audm, a subscription-based audio app. Financial terms were not disclosed. Launched in 2016 by Ryan Wegner and Christian Brink, Audm transforms longform articles into audio. Audm users can listen to hours of new stories every week, from publications including The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Atlantic and a host of other publishers.
