Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board and the Utilities Trust of Australia completed the acquisition of the remaining stake in Sydney Desalination Plant from The Infrastructure Fund, a wholesale investment fund that invests in a diversified portfolio of unlisted infrastructure assets. Ontario Teachers and UTA have increased their ownership stakes to 60% and 40%. Financial terms were not disclosed. “SDP has been a great investment for Ontario Teachers’, and this incremental acquisition demonstrates our commitment as long-term, dedicated and constructive owners.
