palero capital, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of Sanimed Group, a provider of homecare, preservation of mobility, medical technology as well as stair lifts, from Paul Hartmann, which manufactures and markets personal hygiene and medical products. Financial terms were not disclosed. The sale is part of Hartmann's transformation program, which started in 2019 and is set to run for five years, with the aim of strengthening competitiveness and securing an internationally leading market position in the three core segments of wound, incontinence and infection management. However, SANIMED's market activities show only minor synergies with the core business and this new strategic focus from Hartmann.
