AEA Investors, an American middle-market private equity firm, completed the acquisition of SitelogIQ, a provider of energy services and facilities solutions, from Oaktree Capital Management, an American global asset management firm, for $433m. AEA’s investment in SitelogIQ provides the opportunity to partner with a strong senior management team in the highly attractive energy services and facility solutions industry, which is benefitting from underlying growth trends such as aging infrastructure, increased focus on green initiatives, and steady replacement demand as well as upgrades to higher performance equipment.
