Main Street Capital, a principal investment firm, completed the $49m investment in Pearl Meyer, an advisor to boards and senior management on the alignment of executive compensation with business and leadership strategy. “We also recognize, however, that the needs of our clients and the purview of both boards and compensation committees are expanding to encompass oversight of a broad array of human capital issues that are linked to compensation.
