Synopsis
KLP Eiendom, a property manager, completed its acquisition of Nordmore Energiverk, an electric energy distributor and manufacturer from TronderEnergi. Financial terms were not disclosed. "In TrønderEnergi, in recent years we have refined our business within the production of renewable power based on hydropower and wind power. We have built up a strong organization for the operation of wind farms and started a race where we build new business opportunities within electrification and energy efficiency, aimed at the Norwegian and Nordic markets. During the same period, with our support as a shareholder, NEAS has chosen a strategy to cover the regional market's need for a well-functioning network. The group has developed a lot of broadband and taken a very strong position in power sales. In other words, NEAS and TrønderEnergi have gradually chosen their own strategic direction," Ståle Gjersvold, TrønderEnergi CEO.
