Servtec, an energy generator, and Darby, a private equity fund of the North American manager Franklin Templeton, completed the acquisition of a wind farm in Ceará and a hydroelectric plant in Mato Grosso. Financial terms were not disclosed. “They are small assets, which are outside the radar of large buyers, of large M&A transactions. We have seen more larger transactions, from 300 megawatts to 400 megawatts, so these assets do not arouse much interest from the big players, but for us it makes perfect sense,” Pedro Fiúza, Servtec CEO.
