Triton-backed AVS to acquire Gerding and MIS.

Triton-backed AVS Verkehrssicherung, a provider of services for professional traffic safety, agreed to acquire Gerding and MIS, two providers of traffic engineering. Financial terms were not disclosed. "The company is known as a long-standing, reliable and innovative service provider. For AVS, the acquisition of Gerding/MIS is an ideal expansion of the competences in the segment of congestion warning systems and mobile signage," Andreas Schwingeler, AVS COO.
