Kinnevik and WBA completed a $1bn investment in Village Practice Management Company.

Kinnevik, an investment firm, and Walgreens Boots Alliance, an American holding company, completed a $1bn investment in Village Practice Management Company, a provider of value-based primary care services. Of WBA’s investment, 80% will be used by VillageMD to fund the opening of the clinics and build the partnership, including integration with Walgreens digital assets.
