United Molasses Marketing completed the acquisition of the molasses trading businesses of Greencore Group for $20m.

United Molasses Marketing, the holding company of a group of business involved in the global trading and marketing of molasses, completed the acquisition of the molasses trading businesses of Greencore Group, a manufacturer of convenience foods in the UK, for $20m. The proceeds will be used to further strengthen Greencore Group's balance sheet. The transaction is subject to the approval of relevant anti-trust authorities.
