KT Skylife to acquire Hyundai HCN for $455m.

KT Skylife, a provider of digital satellite broadcasting service, agreed to acquire Hyundai HCN, a broadcasting company that specializes in television broadcasting services, for $455m. The companies will be able to provide a variety of service products as well as affordable phones to be provided in the future by securing all domestic pay-TV businesses such as cables, following IPTV and satellite broadcasting, along with the overwhelming position of over 35% of the market share.
