Vecima Networks to acquire the Gainspeed portfolio of Nokia.

Vecima Networks, a Canadian company that develops hardware and software solutions for broadband access, content delivery, and telematics, agreed to acquire the Gainspeed portfolio, which contains next generation technology and products for cable service providers, from Nokia, a Finnish multinational telecommunications, information technology, and consumer electronics company. Financial terms were not disclosed. The addition of these products and world-class talent broadens our DAA platform and adds 10G-EPON products to our portfolio.
