CSC Generation, an e-commerce business, and Marquee Brands, a brand owner, agreed to acquire Sur La Table, a home kitchenware retailer, for $89m. The joint venture was named the highest bidder at a bankruptcy auction, topping an initial takeover offer from investment manager Fortress Investment Group.
