Avianca completed the acquisition of an additional 19.99% stake in LifeMiles from Advent for $195m.

Avianca, a Latin American airline holding company, completed the acquisition of an additional 19.99% stake in LifeMiles, one of the largest loyalty programs in Latin America, from Advent International for $195m. Previously Avianca owned 70% of LifeMiles, while the other 30% was owned by Advent International. With this latest purchase, Avianca owns 89.9% of LifeMiles, and Advent International owns 10.1%.
