Synopsis
Van Lanschot Kempen, a provider of private and merchant banking, asset management, and other financial services, to acquire Hof Hoorneman, an investment management company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are very enthusiastic about this acquisition, which fits perfectly into our growth strategy. Hof Hoorneman Bankiers has a distinctive positioning in the market and offers a good fit in terms of customer mix, investment policy, corporate culture and personal customer approach. Through this transaction, we increase our client assets by €1.9bn. Considerable economies of scale can be realized, with room for further growth. Through their current trusted Hof Hoorneman Bankers banker, customers will have access to a broader range of products and services to preserve and build up their assets," Karl Guha, Van Lanschot Kempen Chairman of the Board. On December 22, 2020: Van Lanschot Kempen received the regulatory approval for acquisition of Hof Hoorneman Bankiers.
