New Deal

Announced

Shinhan Group to acquire Neoplux from Doosan for $60m.

Synopsis

Shinhan Group, a Korea-based company engaged in the bank business, agreed to acquire Neoplux, a corporate venture capital firm, from Doosan, a South Korean multinational conglomerate company, for $60m. In line with the government's venture investment promotion policy, it is drawing and promoting the big picture of increasing investment in innovative growth in the long term. One of the ways to expand investment in innovative finance is the addition of a VC subsidiary. In this process, Shinhan Financial chose to acquire human resources, systems, and many years of know-how, rather than establishing a new company, by acquiring Neoflux with 20 years of experience.
