Global Infrastructure Partners, a private equity firm, completed the acquisition of solar assets of RatanIndia Power, an electrical power generation company, for $231m. The transaction involved certain ground-mounted solar parks with a combined capacity of 297 MW that are spread across Karnataka, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh, as well as 9 MW of rooftop photovoltaic (PV) installations in 10 cities.
