VMware completed the acquisition of Mode.net.

VMware, a software company, completed the acquisition of Mode.net, a developer of a cloud-based online performance platform intended to transform the cost and convenience of private fiber. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition helps broaden VMware's existing deep bench of talent and technology as they deliver the VMware Telco Cloud Platform to communication service providers globally.
