Synopsis
Abu Dhabi Investment Authority agreed to acquire a 5.1% stake in Cheniere Energy, the largest US exporter of liquefied natural gas, for $615m. It’s Cheniere’s fourth-largest shareholder. Cheniere operates two US LNG export facilities: Corpus Christi in Texas and Sabine Pass in Louisiana.
