MarketAxess to acquire MuniBrokers from Hartfield, Titus & Donnelly.

MarketAxess, the operator of a leading electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities, agreed to acquire MuniBrokers, a central electronic venue serving municipal bond inter-dealer brokers and dealers, from Hartfield, Titus & Donnelly, an inter-dealer broker of municipal bonds. Financial terms were not disclosed.
