Mitsui and Nippon Soda completed the acquisition of a 56% stake in Bharat Insecticide.

Mitsui, a trading company, and Nippon Soda, a chemical company, completed the acquisition of a 56% stake in Bharat Insecticide, an agrochemical company. Financial terms were not disclosed. By investing in this project, Mitsui and Nisso intend to contribute to the expansion of BIL's business in India by inducing synergy with Mitsui's global assets and by introducing Nisso's competitive products into BIL's portfolio.
