A consortium led by Paradigm Capital Value Fund, an investment advisory company, offered to acquire a 73.19% stake in Internationella Engelska Skolan i Sverige, a Sweden-based company, which is primary engaged in the education services industry, for £409m. “We have been a large shareholder in the International English School for several years now and know that it is a well-run company, with academic results far above the average in Sweden. Good schools and high-quality education are central to every society and the needs are great for the future. The concept and culture that the founder Barbara Bergström has built for IES have proven to be very successful.
