Silver Lake-backed TEG and Providence Equity Partners completed an investment in Ambassador Theatre Group.

Silver Lake-backed TEG, a live entertainment and ticketing company, and Providence Equity Partners, a private equity firm, completed an investment in Ambassador Theatre Group, a major international theatre organisation headquartered in the United Kingdom. Financial terms were not disclosed. The injection of new capital by Providence and TEG, which is backed by the media and technology-focused buyout firm Silver Lake, follows a tentative reopening of British theatres in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic.
