Access Bank to acquire Grobank for $28m.

Access Bank, a provider of commercial banking services, agreed to acquire Grobank, a provider of banking and financial services based in Sandton, South Africa, for $28m. “Today’s announcement represents significant progress in delivering on our strategic intent of becoming Africa’s Gateway to the World in pursuit of our vision to be the World’s Most Respected African Bank,” Herbert Wigwe, Acess Bank CEO.
