Synopsis

Edit

Live Oak Acquisition, a blank-check acquisition company, completed the merger with Danimer, a biopolymer manufacturer headquartered in Bainbridge, Georgia, in a $914m deal. In connection with the closing, Live Oak changed its name to Danimer Scientific. The combined company's common stock began trading under the ticker symbol “DNMR” on the New York Stock Exchange on December 30, 2020. “The completion of our business combination represents a pivotal milestone in the global fight against one of the world’s biggest environmental problems – single use plastic waste and pollution,” Stephen E. Croskrey, Danimer Scientific CEO.
