Ferrero completed the acquisition of Fox's Biscuits from Boparan for $319m.

Italian confectionery giant Ferrero completed the acquisition of Fox's Biscuits, a British biscuit manufacturer, from Boparan, a company that owns food production and restaurant businesses, for $319m. It is the second acquisition in Britain for family-owned Ferrero, which bought chocolate maker Thorntons in 2015. This is a further signal of Ferrero’s intention to strengthen its position in the category known in the industry as “sweets consumed outside meals” and limit its reliance on chocolate products.
