Downer EDI to acquire the remaining stake in Spotless for $1.2bn.

Downer EDI, a provider of engineering, construction and infrastructure management services, offered to acquire the remaining stake in Spotless, an integrated facilities services provider, for $1.2bn. "Downer welcomes the opportunity to move to 100 per cent ownership of Spotless. While the Hospitality business has been materially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, the core facilities management businesses of health, education, government and defence continue to perform well," Grant Fenn, Downer CEO.
