Kobayashi Pharmaceutical completed the acquisition of Alva-Amco for $108m.

Kobayashi Pharmaceutical, a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, completed the acquisition of Alva-Amco, a US producer of specialty non-prescription pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, and skin care products, for $108m. This key strategic acquisition continues expansion of Kobayashi’s healthcare business in North America. Both companies have an extensive range of healthcare products and experience to draw upon to build a platform for future growth. Combining Kobayashi’s R&D and technical knowledge with their marketing and sales capabilities on the brands, aiming to further grow healthcare business in North America by providing new value to customers.
