Private equity firms The Carlyle Group and Pacific Equity Partners withdrew their offer to acquire Link Administration Holdings, an IT service management company, from Perpetual for $2.2bn Private equity firms Pacific Equity Partners and Carlyle, offered to acquire Link Group, an information solutions provider, for $2bn. Perpetual, a 10% shareholder in Link Group, agreed to divest its stake. On January 3, 2021, SS&C Technology Holdings withdrew its offer for Link. On April 27, 2021, Carlyle, Pacific Equity Partners scrapped their $2.2bn bid for Link.
