Arran Energy to acquire Osaka Gas Niugini from Osaka Gas.

Arran Energy, a private-sector energy firm, agreed to acquire Osaka Gas Niugini, a specified subsidiary for holding assets related to oil and natural gas development business, from Osaka Gas, a Japanese gas company based in Osaka. Financial terms are not disclosed. The company is considering the possibility of methanation technology using carbon dioxide and hydrogen to synthesise methane to achieve its goal.
