Spotify, a digital music, podcast, and video streaming service, agreed to acquire Megaphone, a podcast advertising and publishing platform, from Graham Holdings, a diversified American conglomerate holding company, for $235m. The closing of the transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals. “We are still in the early chapters of the streaming audio industry story, but it is absolutely clear that the potential is significant.
