capiton-backed Euro Vital Pharma, a pharmaceutical company in Hamburg, agreed to acquire Principle Healthcare Group, a manufacturer and distributor of vitamins, minerals and supplements in the private label consumer healthcare sector. Financial terms were not disclosed. The complimentary product portfolios of the two firms, with Principle Healthcare’s focus on dietary supplements and EVP’s strength in pharmaceutical licenses and medical devices, offers significant cross-selling and other synergy potential in Europe and other regions.
