Church & Dwight completed the acquisition of Matrixx Initiatives from Gryphon Investors for $530m.

Church & Dwight, a consumer packaged goods company, completed the acquisition of Matrixx Initiatives, a provider of over-the-counter remedies, from Gryphon Investors, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, for $530m. “The acquisition of Zicam represents a superb addition to our existing portfolio and brings to our Company the leading brand within zinc supplements, one of the fastest-growing sub-segments of the VMS category," Matthew Farrell, Church & Dwight Chairman and CEO.
