Van Loon Group to acquire Bonfait from Unilever.

Van Loon Group, a food manufacturer, agreed to acquire Bonfait, a chilled meat manufacturer and supplier, from Unilever. Financial terms were not disclosed. The strategic acquisition of Bonfait enables Van Loon Group to further expand is product portfolio. Besides supplying meat products and meat substitutes, Van Loon Group will also enter the market for ready chilled meals and meal components.
