Tamarack Valley Energy to acquire Clearwater assets of Highwood Oil for C$74m.

Tamarack Valley Energy, an energy company, agreed to acquire Clearwater assets of Highwood Oil, an oil and natural gas producer, for C$74m. "The Assets are complementary to Tamarack's strengths in execution and recovery improvement. The Assets also complement our expanding waterflood production in Veteran and boost the Company's free adjusted funds flow over the next several years," Brian Schmidt, Tamarack President and CEO.
