Announced

Azimut Libera Impresa and Peninsula Capital to acquire a 75% stake in Isola dei Tesori from Dmo for $156m.

Synopsis

Private equity firms Azimut Libera Impresa and Peninsula Capital, agreed to acquire a 75% stake in Isola dei Tesori, an animal food retailer, from Dmo, a specialty retailer, for $156m. "Twenty years after its creation we decided to sell a majority stake in L’Isola dei Tesori, after a good story of growth is the time to take a further step forward to be ready for the new challenges that the market will pose us. Twenty years in which Isola dei Tesori has been the best retail sign in the world of pet food for the last eight years, twenty years full of satisfaction, but we believe that the best is yet to come, and it will come along with others two partners this time. It is with satisfaction that we announce that they have entered the share capital two new partners: Peninsula and ALI. Together we will make Isola even more the reference point in the world of retail pet food," Fabio Celeghin, Isola dei Tesori Founder.
